If a new rule is introduced , it is the Division DIA Officer's
responsibility to communicate it effectively and/or enforce it.
Beside that, DIA also gives the Member of the Month (MOTM) Award (currently on hold).
Every member is allowed to vote for one person whom (s)he thinks deserved it.
The Award includes a promotion up to Lieutenant and every member can only be voted once.
Note: Excluded of the voting is the whole DIA staff.
Reactively, if someone has a complaint, they can go to
any DIA officer they like, doesn't matter which division, if you
need instructing in the academy things would be slow
if you only had an Avenger Wing Full Instructor etc.
But please try to speak with the DIA officer of your Wing first.
He usually knows best what's going on and might has a bit more
background information.
Having this pool of DIA officers also means that if you want someone
to speak on your behalf, you have a big group to choose from.
DIA also cares about problems between single members of the NRN.
Go to your DIA officer and ask him to moderate your dispute or
to clear things if you can't do it by your own.
DIA is here to solve problems in a civil manner without bias.
It is for those who don't feel comfortable about going to their Commanding Officer or
Admirality about a problem or have a problem with a CO or Admiral.
Remember, DIA is not meant to persecute members of the NRN.
In essence it acts more like a member’s defense lawyers.
The DIA is here to help.
